We’re always mindful that time is money for our commercial clients. Hope Park Dental is no exception so we knew that we would have to work quickly but precisely to refurbish and modernise this practice.We upgraded four surgeries in the same building in a modern light grey colour and key considerations included the location of the plumbing to achieve the desired finished look, placing the pump in the correct place for access, but also to reduce the sound it makes when operating.
Installing a specific grade of uPVC pipes to ensure they didn’t corrode over time with dental chemicals and finally – bearing in mind the practice is within a Victorian period property – we covered the fireplace behind work surfaces, so that it could be easily reinstated should the building ever resort to residential use at some point in the distant future.
The look was finished with hard-wearing Marmoleum flooring, feature uplighters and ambient diffused fluorescent ceiling lights to avoid glare when working. All this was achieved within tight deadlines to avoid disruption to dental appointments.
